My gestural abstract paintings vary in scale from small wood panel to large format canvases often utilizing acrylic, spray paint, charcoal and ink. My process also incorporates pouring techniques, with flow enhancing mediums, which allows me to create delicate veils of color coupled with silkscreen printing. I experiment with atmospheric spray paint, gritty chalk drawing, spindly line work. Gloss varnish and resin seal the surface; giving the work a glass-like effect. I draw influence from the aesthetic intricacies of places I’ve traveled to throughout my life. Some works capturing the bright lights of New York City and Los Angeles. Others represent the vast contemporary space of desert towns like Palm Springs. I graduated from Moravian College with a BFA. I currently reside in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
